An Introduction to Mathematical Modeling in Biology

This series of lecutres is for undegraduate students who are interested in mathematical modeling of population dynamics. In these lectures, as a first step, we focus on "difference equation models" to describe unstructured population dynamics in discrete time.

Understanding difference equation approach opens the next step to construct ordinary differential equation models in continuous time and to explore dynamics of structured populations with a little bit advanced mathematics, which will be given in future, hopefully.
